Funny experience at the fair:

A woman bought the first Daisy--Death at Wentwater Court. Half an hour later she came back--she'd started reading it while having a massage and wanted Winter Garden Mystery! First time I've had such a quick return :-)

And so many people made kind comments I can't resist posting them all!
    • SB That's flattering, but I've often thought the Daisy books should come with a warning that they may be addicting. Like · 1 person
    • Carola Dunn I hear that from quite a few people, but it's the first time to my knowledge that it's happened so fast!
    • EFK I've read mine so often that my husband (who does not read them) knows some of the plot lines, which I *will* discuss with him!
    • ET Once I discovered Daisy, I had to have all of the available books ASAP. At that time there were only three!! Love them!!
    • RS That's lovely! I hope she buys all the Daisy books.
    • SB I'm a little jealous. It would be so nice to have all those books yet to read.· Like · 1 person
    • LL Your books are like potato chips. Can't read just one.
    • LC I'm always so anxious to finish your book I'm reading because I can't wait to get on to the next one! Your books are like that so, please, keep them coming---no pressure mind you but we love the stories you weave for us!
    • EP I just requested Wentworth from the library. Time to read it again. Thanks, Carola, for the reminder!
    • LP I bought the first three and the last but two without even having read the first. Usually if the cover looks good you can bet the books going to be good. Wasn't wrong, total addiction.
    • PF That is kind of like my first experience with Daisy. OMG, I've got to read the rest of them.
    • Carola Dunn Am I going to have to set up a Daisy-lovers Anonymous?? Like · 3 people
    • ET Not for me! It's no secret: I love Daisy!
    • Marva Dasef That's neat! I saw you there, but you were busy with a customer so didn't disturb you. Said hi to a few others I knew. MUCH better spot this year!
    • Carola Dunn Was a good spot but thin crowds. It got better later. You should have come to say hi!
    • JR Your books are addicting! Like · 1 person
    • MR As soon as I got into the first Daisy I wanted all that had been written to that point.Like · 1 person
    • KL I can totally understand her. I read Bloody Tower 1st. Even though at the time it was the last in the series, I was thrilled to start from the beginning and devour all that I could of Daisy's adventures . BTW, when's the next one coming...? ;^)
    • Carola Dunn Gone West, Feb. in US and UK :-) I'm just working on the page proofs now. I posted the probable cover a while ago <https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150224299647899&set=a.25802642898.33451.701117898&&theater>Mystery! Probably cover for the next Daisy book. • JKHS I found styx and stones at my little library in town. After reading it I was hooked and ordered the first one from the book store across from work. I've been reading them in order and re-read styx and stones because it had been awhile. Love the Daisy books!

If this link takes you to "page not found", click on "go to blog home page". I've had some trouble with it--no idea why.

By the way, if you're on Facebook, I now have a Carola Dunn Author page (as well as Daisy Dalrymple, Cornish Mysteries, and my personal page). Facebook put up a Carola Dunn Author page that I have no control over, so make sure you get the right one.

Daisy now has her own Facebook page! You can find it by typing Daisy Dalrymple in the FB Search box. I've posted pictures of the setting of the next book, Anthem for Doomed Youth. Let me know what you'd like to see on the page.

There's a Facebook page for Cornish Mysteries also.

I just heard that my agent is negotiating with my UK publisher for UK audio rights to the Daisy mysteries. They won't have any trouble finding someone with the right accent to read :-)
