Just adore that style of jacket Miss D, but will the artist ever read one book and know that Daisy has blond curls.
I still like the jacket though, intriging title.

She's not supposed to be skinny, either, but what the heck. At least she doesn't have coal-black hair like the UK cover art!

Never read a dud Dunn yet. More power to your writer's elbow Carola, and thank you for many happy hours past and to come.

I haven't heard officially but someone found it on Goodreads listed as Dec 10th. Someone else found it on amazon.co.uk with the kindle edition listed as June or July, can't remember which. That's pretty much impossible as I haven't finished writing it yet!!

Hi, the cover is lovely; it reminds me of summer, if we ever get one again! I hope the cover will be the same for the UK edition. I Can't wait.

It's set in August, Lorraine. The UK covers are usually different but you never know!

A little hint of the next storyline.

When a claimant to the title of Lord Darlymple comes to an unexpected sticky end, the cry goes up: 'Was it murder?'

The Honourable Daisy Dalrymple is recruited by her cousin Edgar - the current Lord Dalrymple - to help him find the next heir to the viscountcy. With the involvement of the family lawyer, they come up with four claimants who, along with Daisy, are invited to Fairacres, the family estate, to celebrate Edgar's fiftieth birthday.

And they're a mixed bunch. A hotelier from Scarborough, a diamond merchant from South Africa, a mixed-race boy from Trinidad and a sailor from Jamaica. But then the sailor goes missing... and so begins a series of inexplicable and troubling accidents, resulting in the death of one of the would-be heirs. Daisy and her husband, DCI Alec Fletcher of Scotland Yard, are left wondering who might be behind all of this and, more importantly... who's next?

I am just reading the last of my 20 Daisy Dalrymples, "Gone West", loved and solved every one so far. The pressure is truly on to maintain my 100% record. Is "Heirs of the Body" the next one and is it now available in the U.K.? You must write quicker as I don't think I can survive without a Daisy.
P.S. I must admit that I have always visualised Daisy with black hair and had to go back and see that she has honey brown locks. Sorry, it will always be black to me.

Jacqui, I emailed you, but the short answer is yes, Heirs is the next Daisy, and it's due out in the US in December. I don't know about UK but probably the same.

I like the cover. I have just found you and the Daisy series, but after listening (I LOVE audiobooks. I have lots of drive time) to Fall of a Philanderer, I think it's a re-find. Will the new book be made into an audiobook? Will any of your other books be made into audiobooks? I am totally addicted!!!
