The Joys of Research

_I don't think I posted this link here before--my blog on Murderous Musings about  The joys of research.  It's some fascinating and amusing stuff I found when I was writing GONE WEST (out Jan. 17th), the next Daisy mystery.

A couple of months ago I got a phone call from a couple who were just beginning a life on the road in a motor home. Their aim was to visit and interview as many authors as possible. As they started out from Portland, Oregon, I was their third or fourth subject.

They arrived armed  with lights and video camera and questions. We had a delightful visit. Then they drove on. I heard from them once or twice, an email and a greetings card for the holidays. They were having trouble with their vehicle and were way behind on editing and processing the videos they'd shot.

But just today I heard my interview has been posted. I haven't looked at it yet, so if you go and watch it right now, you can leave a comment here (and there, I expect) and warn me if I really don't want to watch myself making a fool of myself!
